As part of the project’s working package devoted to Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation (WP9), regular social media Engaging Surveys have been conducted through the project’s Twitter account to gauge the opinions of stakeholders and young people in the countries under study and beyond. These surveys aimed to engage a larger audience in the debate on the drivers of violent extremism and the preventive measures to be designed. As they were intended to be vectors of mobilisation and engagement, they were carried out taking advantage of the achievement of relevant objectives and milestones of the project, such as the Cross-Regional Women’s Forum in Tarragona, the Toolkit Methodology Lab in Amman, the Final Conference in Brussels or the publication of research papers.
The following report aims to grasp some insights on diverse social media voices and attitudes towards violent extremism by presenting the results of the surveys.
