The CONNEKT EU-funded project is gearing up to host a dynamic two-day seminar. Set to take place on September 14th and 15th in Amman hosted by CONNEKT partner Generations for Peace, the seminar will pave the way for building more effective prevention strategies of violent extremism (PVE).
Considering the research done so far in mapping specific radicalisation drivers and PVE factors observed in CONNEKT countries, the seminar will focus on bridging theory with practical application. Under the guidance of experts coming from the Kosovar Centre for Security Studies, the Atlantic Initiative and the International Centre for Counter-Terrorism (ICCT), over 25 participants will be addressing in several sessions the PVE toolkits relevance, and discussing and refining toolboxes of preventive interventions.
CONNEKT will be producing 8 prevention toolkits, one per each MENA and Balkan country studied.
