The scientific coordinator of CONNEKT, Lurdes Vidal, shares the methodology and preliminary results of the project in the Jean Monnet Network on EU Counter-Terrorism seminar and workshop, organised by the Barcelona Centre for International Affairs, the Dublin City University and the University of South Wales.

Vidal participates in a panel discussing the prevention and countering of violent extremism in Europe. She discusses the CONNEKT project and the macro and meso level research results on drivers of radicalisation and violent extremism in MENA and the Balkans. The conference includes an assesment of the impact of the war in Ukraine and trends in the Balkans regarding the matters discussed. The panel is moderated by Bogdan Stefanachi and Alexandru Ioan Cuza, University of Iași, and include several other international experts that analyse and discuss P/CVE from different points of view.
